Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Medical Assistant you will be a vital pillar of our care team significantly impacting patient well-being through direct support and seamless coordination.
Every day you will actively collaborate on comprehensive screenings assist with clinical procedures provide essential health education and expertly manage administrative tasks leveraging technology to coordinate care for diverse patient populations. You will ensure patients feel at ease patiently explaining instructions and addressing their concerns.
To be successful in this role you will possess strong clinical knowledge technological fluency genuine compassion for patient well-being and an adaptable spirit keen on continuous learning and collaborative teamwork.
- Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
- Obtain and record vital signs including but not limited to blood pressure temperature pulse respiration height weight drug allergies and current medications and presenting problems.
- May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Administer ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral injection topically rectal ophthalmic and/or inhalant administration.
- May perform routine tests including but not limited to EKGs.
Shift:Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Student loan repayment program offered!
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- AHA BLS within 30 Days
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required if hired as a CMA. Non-certified medical assistants will be required to become certified after hire.
