Job Summary
Hiring: Procurement Manager
Location: Riyadh Saudi Arabia
Experience: 6 years in procurement with a focus on events and contracting
Notice Period: Immediate / Transferable Iqama only
About the Role
Our client is looking to hire an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimize the procurement operations. The role demands solid expertise in vendor sourcing cost control and contract negotiation particularly within events and contracting. The ideal candidate will be able to efficiently manage the supply chain while aligning with budget and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement planning and sourcing strategies aligned with project/event needs
- Identify and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
- Manage supplier relationships and evaluate performance metrics
- Monitor procurement performance costs and timelines
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
- Coordinate with project managers logistics and finance teams
- Implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality
- Maintain accurate records of purchases pricing and inventory
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of procurement experience; preference for candidates with event or contracting background
- Strong command of English (spoken and written) non-negotiable
- Solid understanding of supplier management tendering processes and budget control
- Proven experience in cost optimization and vendor negotiations
- Transferable Iqama is mandatory
- Nationality: Any (Arabic-speaking candidates preferred)
