Key Responsibilities

As a KS2 Teacher you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of SEND EAL and high-attaining pupils

  • Establish a positive inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

  • Monitor pupil progress and implement interventions where necessary

  • Encourage pupils to develop self-confidence responsibility and teamwork skills

  • Maintain regular communication with parents carers and colleagues

  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and multidisciplinary teams to support learning

  • Contribute to school development initiatives curriculum planning and enrichment programs

  • Uphold professional standards and adhere to all safeguarding policies


Person Specification

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching Years 36 in a primary school setting

  • Be skilled in classroom management and able to motivate and engage pupils

  • Demonstrate experience with SEND and EAL support

  • Show enthusiasm creativity and adaptability in teaching

  • Possess excellent communication teamwork and organizational skills

  • Be committed to professional growth and reflective practice

Desirable:

  • Experience leading a subject area or school project

  • Familiarity with digital teaching platforms and tools

  • Active involvement in extracurricular activities or enrichment programs
