About the Role

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stratford East London is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join its committed teaching team. This is a full-time permanent position suitable for both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (ECTs).

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a class within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 planning delivering and assessing high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all pupils. Key Responsibilities

As a Primary Teacher in Stratford your responsibilities will include:

• Planning preparing and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum in line with the National Curriculum

• Creating an inclusive safe and stimulating learning environment that meets the needs of all pupils

• Differentiating teaching to support learners of varying abilities including SEN and EAL pupils

• Monitoring pupil progress through formative and summative assessment and adjusting teaching accordingly

• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour effort and achievement promoting pupils independence and resilience

• Supporting pupils social emotional and personal development alongside their academic progress

• Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants SENCOs and senior leadership to deliver interventions and targeted support

• Participating in pupil progress meetings curriculum planning and school-wide initiatives

• Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil achievement behaviour and wellbeing

• Keeping accurate records of pupil performance development and assessments

• Actively participating in staff meetings CPD sessions and other professional development opportunities

• Upholding safeguarding child protection and school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The school is seeking a Primary Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Has experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (ECTs welcome)

• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and a positive consistent approach to behaviour

• Is committed to inclusive education supporting pupils from diverse backgrounds

• Can differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners

• Is reflective proactive and committed to ongoing professional development

• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills with pupils parents and colleagues

• Works collaboratively as part of a professional team

• Is passionate about making a lasting difference in childrens lives

Experience supporting pupils with SEN EAL or additional learning needs is highly desirable although not essential.
