About the role

As the Head of AI you will lead the strategy development and delivery of AI-driven solutions across Celfocus key clients and internal initiatives. You will work closely with Data Science Engineering Architecture and Product teams to design scalable enterprise-grade AI solutions that create real business impact in sectors such as telecommunications banking insurance retail and pharmaceutical.

This is a strategic and highly visible role combining technical depth with strong leadership innovation and client engagement.

As a part of your job you will:

• Define and drive the companys AI strategy and innovation roadmap ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Lead and develop the Data Science and AI Engineering teams establishing best practices and fostering a culture of learning.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of AI solutions including architecture model development validation and production deployment.
• Act as a senior AI advisor for clients supporting pre-sales RFPs and strategic discussions.
• Ensure AI governance and compliance including Responsible AI security and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate across Product Engineering Architecture and Delivery to ensure scalable high-quality solutions.
• Represent the company externally participating in client meetings events and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

What are we looking for

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science AI Data Science Machine Learning Mathematics or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of combined experience in Data Science Machine Learning or AI roles.
• Strong background in ML Deep Learning NLP and/or Generative AI.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex AI projects in production.
• Solid understanding of cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus).
• Experience with enterprise clients and large-scale data ecosystems.

• Teamwork skills but also a sense of autonomy;
• Motivation for international projects and ok if travel is included;
• Willingness to collaborate with other players;
