Objects Manufacturing is a vinyl record pressing plant based in Berlin Oberschöneweide founded around four years ago. We work with clients worldwide and combine hands-on craftsmanship with a strong focus on precision quality and thoughtful innovation. With our in-house electroforming department we produce our own stampers and oversee the full vinyl manufacturing process from start to finish.
We are a relatively small team of 15 people which allows us to stay close to every step of production keep quality standards high and deliver reliably within agreed timelines. As a growing company flexibility and a genuine interest in improving how things are done are essential. Position: Vinyl Record Sleever (Full Time)
Type: Full-time position (40 hours per week)
Shift: Day shift (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Languages: English German
Tasks
- Sleeving freshly pressed vinyl records into inner sleeves outer jackets and additional packaging elements
- Visual inspection and careful handling of each record to ensure quality (Quality Control)
- Supporting setup and organization of packaging stations
- Assisting with storing and sorting packed records according to production orders
- Coordinating with the logistics team for shipping preparation
- Recycling old scrap records using our in-house grinder and punch machine.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in the packaging area as well as across the warehouse in general.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and care when handling delicate products
- Able to work independantly
- Fluent in English and/or German
- Reliable punctual and a true team player
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet
- Interest in music and vinyl record production is a plus
- Berlin-based
