Whether its a boutique private tour of Monaco or a 100-person party in the heart of Nice we are dedicated to showing our guests the absolute best of the Riviera. We are looking for an Assistant Manager who is as passionate about cultural storytelling as they are about the energy of a vibrant nightlife scene.
The Role
This is a high-impact leadership role. You will be responsible for the logistical heartbeat of our operations ensuring that our daytime tours are informative and seamless and our evening events are high-energy and safe. Crucially you will also lead the creation and development of new tour products to keep RBCT at the forefront of the Mediterranean tourism market.
Tasks
1. Tour Development & Product Creation (New)
- Creative Design: Research and develop new walking tours themed sightseeing routes and unique nightlife concepts (e.g. Speakeasy tours seasonal parties).
- Itinerary Engineering: Build out the logistics timing and wow factors for new products.
- Costing & Profitability: Calculate margins negotiate with partner bars/venues and set competitive pricing strategies.
- Content Writing: Create engaging descriptions for our website and marketing materials to bring the tours to life.
2. Operations & Logistics
- Guide Coordination: Manage the daily schedule for our team of local guides and party hosts.
- Quality Control: Conduct field checks to ensure walking tours meet our historical accuracy standards and bar crawls maintain high energy.
- Supply Chain: Manage relationships with transport partners venues and third-party vendors.
3. Customer Service & Guest Experience
- Guest Relations: Monitor online reviews (TripAdvisor Google) and implement immediate improvements based on feedback.
- Crisis Management: Act as the primary point of contact for on-the-ground issues from sudden weather changes affecting tours to guest inquiries during nightlife events.
- On-Boarding: Ensure every guest receives the RBCT Gold Standard of service from the moment they book until their last drink of the night.
Requirements
- Experience: 3 years in Tourism or Hospitality (Operations or Product Development preferred).
- Versatility: You are equally comfortable discussing 18th-century architecture in a morning meeting and managing a VIP club entry at midnight.
- Language: Native-level fluency in English; French is a plus).Leadership: A natural ability to motivate a diverse team of international guides and hosts.
