Whats the role

Youll play a key role in the smooth endtoend operation of Westpacs most senior risk committees to ensure they run seamlessly and meet the highest governance standards. Youll coordinate agendas forward planners and action logs prepare and qualityreview papers maintain key committee documents and manage meeting logistics including presenters flow and room administration. Youll also support the broader Risk Committee Ecosystem by scheduling meetings collating inputs across stakeholders and keeping distribution lists and the intranet hub up to date.

This is a fulltime role based in Sydney where youll partner closely with senior stakeholders the CRO Office and Company Secretariat applying sound judgement meticulous attention to detail and calm under pressure especially in peak periods leading up to meetings and regulatory submissions.

What do I need

To thrive in this role youll bring practical governance craft stakeholder confidence and an eye for detail that lifts the standard of every committee interaction.

  • Proven ability to operate or support senior committees including drafting and maintaining terms of reference agendas forward calendars and action lists.
  • Strong stakeholder management with the confidence to engage senior leaders and influence outcomes respectfully.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication clear concise and suited to executive and Board audiences.
  • Exceptional organisation and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and qualityreview complex papers.
  • Sound judgement discretion and a calm teamfirst approach.
