Department Overview

In the Krakow PCR department we are developing and delivering software used for business and mission critical communications & workflows in MOTOTRBO systems and Safety Reimagined solutions. Our solutions are omnipresent in many verticals important in everyday life such as public safety healthcare transportation logistics education hospitality energy manufacturing retail and many others. Our teams are following industry-standard and modern software development practices like continuous integration/continuous deployment DevOps component- and system-level automated testing. We use agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban) to organize our work ranging from cross-functional teams to portfolio management.

The PCR Device Management team is accountable for the entire software development lifecycle (including: specification and design implementation testing delivery and maintenance) for a number of customer-facing products such as on-prem Radio Management CPS 2.0 (Customer Programming Software) cloud-based RadioCentral Commercial Client and tools. They are used to configure program and provide service troubleshooting and diagnostics capabilities for the PCR devices and PCR infrastructure components.


Job Description

PCR Device Management team is looking for a Senior Architect who will lead architecture strategy and technical direction for our Device Management products.

You will:

  • Define and lead the architecture design and standards for Devices Infrastructure and Device Management products.

  • Own the technical roadmap and architectural runway ensuring alignment with the product vision.

  • Review and approve technical designs and implementations acting as the technical authority to ensure solutions are robust scalable and maintainable.

  • Manage trade-offs and make critical architectural decisions between technical complexity performance and development time.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and designs.

  • Represent the team in communication with PdMs and other Senior Architects/Engineering Leaders.

  • Drive the creation of Proof of Concepts (PoC) directly in code to validate new solutions; C# programming knowledge is a strong asset.

  • Mentor team members on technical topics and best practices within a collaboration-focused organization.


Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position ( Architect Senior Software Engineer with strong design experience).

  • Capability to challenge and drive strategic architecture decisions.

  • Experience with C# based and cloud deployed products would be nice to have.

  • Deep understanding of system design scalable architectures and software development patterns.

  • Experience creating technical design documents and architectural blueprints.

  • Ability to work closely with development teams to ensure successful product delivery.

  • Ability to solve complex architectural and technical problems and select the best approach for a given statement.

  • Ability to understand and design complex systems both on prem and cloud.

  • We expect result-orientation and ability to execute assigned responsibilities and tasks with minimum supervision following standard development life-cycle processes.

  • Good communication skills in English.
