Job Summary
The Programmer Analyst I will be responsible for designing developing testing and implementing software solutions to support business operations. This role involves analyzing user requirements troubleshooting issues and maintaining existing applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality within Jabils global manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and analyze software requirements translating them into technical specifications and designs.
Develop code test and debug new applications modules and enhancements using various programming languages and development tools (e.g. C# .NET SQL JavaScript).
Maintain and support existing applications including identifying and resolving software defects performance issues and user-reported problems.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from conceptualization and design to deployment and post-implementation support.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design specifications test plans and user manuals.
Conduct unit integration and system testing to ensure the quality reliability and functionality of developed solutions.
Assist in the implementation and deployment of new software solutions including data migration and user training.
Adhere to Jabils coding standards best practices and security guidelines.
Work independently and as part of a team managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Job Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in software development or programming analysis.
Strong proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g. C# Java Python) and web technologies (e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript).
Solid understanding of relational databases SQL and database management systems (e.g. SQL Server Oracle).
Experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
Excellent problem-solving analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle EBS) or manufacturing execution systems (MES) is a plus.
