About the Role:
Our Client is currently recruiting a Pharmaceutical Technician to join their Inhalation Product Development team. This position plays a key role in supporting batch manufacturing sample submission and logistics data compilation and laboratory maintenance ensuring efficient and compliant operations within our development laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with manufacturing of development batches for Metered Dose Inhalers (MDIs) and Dry Powder Inhalers (DPIs).
- Coordinate sample preparation tracking and submission to internal and external testing labs.
- Compile and maintain accurate documentation including development batch records lab notebooks protocols and validation reports.
- Ensure cleaning servicing and calibration of lab equipment is up to date and documented.
- Manage and monitor laboratory consumables and supplies to ensure continuous operation.
- Set up and support controlled trials and experimental runs within the lab.
- Ensure compliance with GMP and EHS standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams including Quality Regulatory and Supply Chain to support project timelines and deliverables.
- May be required to work occasional shifts depending on project demands and manufacturing schedules.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- NFQ Level 6 qualification (or higher) in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Practical experience operating formulation or manufacturing equipment; inhalation manufacturing experience (DPI/MDI) is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive adaptable team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong problem-solving mindset.
Required Skills:
