Responsible for leading CDWsModern WorkspaceSolutionsteam which sits within theSalesorganisation.Thisleadership role will havea team ofSolution Architects reporting in thatare responsible forleading the technical conversations with our customers.

This role willbe responsibleforsetting and managing the standards directional plans and continuously driving improvement into the team for future businessteamand personal growth.

Thecoreobjectivesof this roleare:

  • To create and execute on aModern Workspaceperformance identity which makes it clear on the teams current and future growth contributions aligned totheCDWModern Workspacestrategy.To continuously drive high performance and leadership in line with the performance metrics.

  • To create manage and deliver exceptional internal and external customer experiences and outcomes within theModern Workspaceeco-systemportfolio

  • To clearly define theModern Workspacego to market which technology areas we focus on how we go to marketand how we continue to grow a positive P&L within this teamin collaboration with other business units

  • Towork in partnership with various internal business units supporting initiatives that drive improvements to the way weoperatethrough process and platform initiatives alwaysdemonstratingbalanced flexibility and a passion to engage

  • To create and evolve learning and development programmeswith autonomy(in collaboration with other business units) ensuring co-workers are continuing to develop individually and in line with business objectives.Continue to iteratetheprocess aligned with business and market changes

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively drive exceptionaland consistentcustomer and seller experiencesinnovatingour delivery model drive increased opportunity win ratesand customer up/cross sell throughprogressive andcredible presalesexpertise Alwaysseekingto raise the bar

  • Build clear internal and customer selling preselling motions that closely align toModern Workspaceprogrammesincentivesandfinancial models

  • Deliver proactive and deliberateengagementwith sales leadership sellers and the wider business to assess and support opportunities in various stages of flight (pre-sales through delivery) considering resource requirements and constraints

  • Develop market insights and competitive intelligencein collaboration with the Presales leadership teamOffice of the CTO Partner Management Marketing and Salesteamsthat aid in the developmentand successofModernWorkspacePractice

  • Hostattend andparticipatein internal customer or partner events toshowcaseCDWs capability

  • Continuously assess and develop theModern Workspaceand recruitthe best talent into the team to drive towards CDWs Mission Forward strategicobjectivesas well as always striving to improve standards

  • Drivedeliberate and exceptionalcollaboration across all business unitsdelivering broad business outcomes for our customers

  • Delivering and executing on strongcoaching and performance management including but not limited to -121 meetings with the teammonitoringperformance supporting development and completing the co-worker life cycle process in line with CWS guidance (process TRP IDP PMP and other initiatives)

QUALIFICATIONSSKILLSANDEXPERIENCE

  • Proven successfulexperiencein the Information Technology market withademonstrabletrack recordof developing teams andindividuals

  • Experience with engaging SLT membersto support growthbusinessandchange initiativesand investments

  • Demonstrable experiencein building and executing on successfuland profitablebusiness plans

  • Experience inforging impactful business generating relationships will all levels of sales and sales leadershipto build brandandprofitable performance

  • Demonstrable experience indelivering change initiatives in line with business strategy

  • Proven C-level interactionengagementand relationship management

  • Demonstrabletrack recordofcreating anddrivingmeasurablerevenueand profitgrowthandmanaging cost

  • Strong understanding and experience of thesales andprocurement lifecycle including negotiation contracting and the management of third parties

  • Experience in building internal departmental brand

  • Professional certifications (desirable) such as Sales Business Administration or Leadership & Management qualifications

  • Outstanding communications skills with the ability to clearly and concisely present concepts and recommendations in verbal written and presentation formats to customers senior leaders and cross-functional audiences

  • High levelsof industry-related knowledge with an insatiable thirst fornew informationrelevant to the market

  • Prepared for occasional travel between CDW UK & International offices as the role requires whilstmaintaininga suitable home life balance

  • Ability toallocatetime to undertake personal development activities such as attending training achieving certifications and focusing on soft-skill development alwaysseekingto personally develop as an individual
