Werelooking for a proactive Paralegal to support Bromptons in-house legal function.Youllhelp keep legal operations running smoothly across contracting corporate governance IP support compliance and general legal administration.Reporting to the General Counsel this is a varied role suited to someone whos organised commercialconfidentand comfortable working with stakeholders across the business.
Whatyoullbe doing:
- Supportingthe Legal Team within all itsday to daybusiness operationslegalqueriesand administration.
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
- Drafting NDAs
- Assistwith roll out of updated retail terms
- Monitor legislative changes horizon scanning and supporting the business with changes in law and working with the Sustainability Team on ESG initiatives
- Prepare and manage the leases master sheet to help manage Bromptons property portfolio
- Assistingin management ofexternal counsel
- Assisting the Legal Teamand the Design and EngineeringTeamsonIP portfolio management and IP enforcement includingthrough take down notices
- Product compliance and customer claims
- Co-ordinate document signatures (e-signature and wet ink)
- Assistwith internal governance compliance with internal procedures and internal trackers
- Organise document notarising and app
- Supporting with invoice processing
Whatyoullneed:
- Alaw degreesfrom a top university or anundergraduate degree and thePGDLor SQE1
- Completion of theSQE2would be a bonus
- Paralegal experience working in a law firm and/or in-houselegaldepartment
- An interest in retail/manufacturing/design
- Willingnessto roll yoursleevesupand take ownership of all tasks that cross your desk from the mundane to the strategic
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Enjoy workingin abusy team
- Ability to juggle shifting priorities
- Apositive attitude

Flexible working
9 Day Fortnight This is a flexible working pattern which individuals can opt in for where an employee works their contractual hours across 9 days instead of 10 days. (i.e. 80 hours across 9 days instead of 10 days). This mean the individual would work an additional hour across Monday to Thursday (across the 2 week period) to gain their Friday off.
Annual Leave 25 days annual leave plus all UK bank holidays.
