The Global Shared Services (GSS) team is part of the Prime Video organization and delivers Marketing and Merchandising services to the Prime Video products like trafficking and placements for US EU SEA LATCANZ IN and JP marketplaces. We are looking for a Training Specialist to join our team who can dive deep into complex content about our tools and systems and develop learning solutions that meet the business needs of the Prime Video marketing operations this role you will oversee the full life cycle of a learning solution. From inception development execution to monitoring results.
Key job responsibilities
-Partner with the Campaign/ Design Operations team to understand the learning needs of the business and execute on them.
-Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop learning solutions that are accurate to the processes of the operation.
-Deliver training sessions both in-person and virtually for population in SJO and India mainly -Assign and monitor completion of self-directed trainings using Amazon Learn tool
-Support SMEs that are certified facilitators in training delivery sessions
-Perform needs analysis and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the demands of the learning objectives and audience.
-Help maintain existing programs to ensure the content remains complete and relevant.
A day in the life
Start the day by meeting with the Campaign/Design Operations team to understand their latest learning needs and priorities for the Prime Video marketing operations program. Collaborate with them to develop an appropriate training strategy and content.
Connect with subject matter experts (SMEs) in the organization to gather accurate information about the tools systems and processes that the training needs to cover. Work closely with the SMEs to create effective and engaging training materials.
Prepare for and deliver both in-person and virtual training sessions for the team members located in Costa Rica and India. Ensure the training content is well-structured and easy to comprehend.
Assign self-directed training courses using the Amazon Learn tool and monitor completion rates. Follow up with learners as needed.
Support the SMEs who are certified training facilitators by assisting them with the delivery of training programs.
Analyze existing training documentation and resources to identify areas for improvement. Work on updating and maintaining the content to keep it current and relevant.
Collaborate with the broader team to contribute to the goal of building an enterprise-grade knowledge platform that serves as a single source of truth for the GSS Global Operations and marketing teams.
Towards the end of the day review feedback from recent training sessions and make notes for future improvements to the training program.
About the team
By 2027 we will build an enterprise-grade knowledge platform that serves as the single source of truth for GSS Global Operations and marketing teams In Prime Video. This platform will standardize taxonomies metadata and content structures to enable seamless Large Language Models (LLM) integration. The system will deliver three key benefits: i) automated content creation and intelligent search ii) predictive insights and real-time content optimization and iii) scalable knowledge delivery across the organization. These capabilities will drive operational efficiency through AI-enabled services built on knowledge ecosystems.
- Experience in process training
- Knowledge of performance-based instructional theories and adult learning principles.
- Experience creating assessments based on learning and performance objectives.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing training materials in all modalities including ILT eLearning video scripts
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders SMEs front-line managers and front line employees
- High standard of verbal and written communication skills while maintaining the highest standard of professionalism at all times.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Demonstrated working knowledge of eLearning development tools such as Captivate Articulate Storyline
- Strong writer with a passion for clarity and helping people learn.
- Experience designing and building online job aids and references and writing materials that support classroom training events or content for e-learning solutions.
- Knowledge and application of instructional theories adult learning on the job learning knowledge management theories and principles in both on-line and classroom instruction.
