Position Title: APS6 Training and Development Coordinator
Employment Type: Labour hire contract approx. 10 months with potential to extend
Location: Canberra
Hourly Pay Rate: $60.00 $68.00 per hour 12% superannuation
Security Clearance/Requirements: Must have a minimum Baseline clearance at time of application
An opportunity is available for an experienced APS6 Training and Development Coordinator to support a strategically significant digital transformation program within a large federal government environment.
You will be part of an established Enterprise Change and Transformation function that provides change communications training and transition support across the organisation. Working closely with a Training Manager and Change Team you will contribute to the planning development and delivery of tailored training solutions to support successful adoption of new systems and ways of working.
This role suits a proactive training professional who enjoys collaborating with diverse stakeholders and delivering high-quality fit-for-purpose learning experiences in a complex program environment.
Support the Training Manager in planning and executing training strategies aligned to program objectives
Contribute to innovative and engaging training approaches to support digital transformation
Collaborate with change and program teams to understand business requirements and training needs
Assess current and future training requirements to support effective transition and adoption
Develop engaging and fit-for-purpose training materials including guides videos and learning modules
Coordinate training schedules to align with program milestones and business readiness activities
Support the delivery of training sessions both virtual and face-to-face
Build strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure training activities are understood and adopted
Monitor evaluate and report on training delivery uptake and effectiveness
Demonstrated experience contributing across the full training lifecycle
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Experience developing and delivering training materials for diverse audiences
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
High-quality written communication and documentation skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proven ability to manage multiple work streams while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
Experience supporting training outcomes within large-scale programs
Understanding of Agile delivery and change management frameworks
