Departments Website:
Coordinate and support online hybrid and web-enhanced courses in alignment with institutional and accreditation standards.
Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) including course shells user access integrations and routine maintenance.
Assist faculty with course design instructional technologies accessibility compliance and best practices for online teaching.
Collaborate with academic leadership to support quality review processes (e.g. course standards regular and substantive interaction).
Oversee daily operations of instructional computer labs and testing centers.
Coordinate hardware/software updates licenses and inventory in collaboration with IT.
Ensure labs and instructional technologies are functional secure and available to support academic programs.
Troubleshoot and resolve routine technology issues or escalate as appropriate.
Coordinate in-person and remote proctoring services for online and distance learning courses.
Manage testing environments to ensure academic integrity.
Ensure compliance with FERPA ADA/Section 504 and institutional testing policies.
Maintain accurate testing records incident reports and data related to proctoring services.
Provide ongoing support for faculty staff and students on instructional technologies and proctoring procedures.
Serve as a liaison among academic departments IT student services and external vendors.
Communicate clearly and promptly regarding system updates outages and procedural changes.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree Preferred
Two (2) years of experience supporting distance learning instructional technology computer labs or testing/proctoring services.
Experience with a Learning Management System (Blackboard) and Workday.
Working knowledge of instructional technologies computer hardware/software and remote proctoring platforms.
Strong organizational communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
Experience in a community college or higher education environment.
Skills and Abilities
Technical proficiency with LMS platforms interactive video video conferencing tools and assessment technologies.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
