Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties (other duties as assigned)

Comply with all AMG V policies and procedures safety and environmental requirements and AMGs Code of Business Conduct
Embrace and promote the AMG V culture in all day-to-day activities
Ensure continuous operation of the Plant by routinely completing preventive maintenance checks on production equipment machines engines motors hydraulic valves/cylinders pneumatic tools conveyor systems etc.
Troubleshoot and identify faulty machine and equipment through observation and testing metrics
Remove replace defective parts/equipment and restore operations to achieve maximum uptime and minimize production downtime; comply with all safety environmental and code requirements when repairing equipment
Source replacement parts in accordance with required specification
Utilize machine/welding skills to fabricate repairs for non-routine/non-mechanical metal fatigue failures
Follow scheduled maintenance work order system and participate in planning of required maintenance mechanical support during scheduled outages
Work closely with Engineering and Production Departments as required
Support preventative maintenance training of non-maintenance team members
Understand roles and responsibilities in support of production teams operational goals and metrics
Utilize principals of lean manufacturing including 6S to support operational and process improvements
Perform other duties as may be required
Assist with mechanical repairs and general maintenance support activities throughout plant as required
Understand roles and responsibilities in support of operational metrics
Work closely with Engineering and Production Departments as required
Support preventative maintenance training of non-maintenance team members
Utilize principals of lean manufacturing including 6S to support operational and process improvements Perform other duties as may be required
