About the Role
ExecuPOWER is seeking a Director of Substation Engineering to lead our growing Substation Department. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a licensed professional engineer with deep technical expertise proven client development skills and the vision to drive innovation in the utility industry.
As Director youll set the strategic direction for the practice lead high-profile utility projects strengthen client partnerships and mentor a high-performing engineering team. This role combines executive leadership business growth and technical oversightideal for an accomplished leader ready to take the next step in their career.
What Youll Do
- Provide strategic leadership for substation engineering projects and teams
- Drive business development and expand client relationships
- Deliver innovative engineering solutions to utility and power clients
- Oversee technical deliverables and ensure quality safety and compliance
- Mentor develop and recruit top engineering talent
- Represent ExecuPOWER as an industry thought leader
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- Active PE license (multi-state preferred)
- 12 years of progressive substation engineering experience
- 5 years in a senior leadership role (consulting client development)
- Strong technical expertise in substation design and delivery
- Business acumen with experience managing budgets and profitability
