Reporting directly to the Director the HRD Manager will be responsible for setting up structuring and managing the end-to-end HR function. This role requires a hands-on HR generalist who can transition the organization from basic personnel administration into a more structured compliant and people-focused HR operation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and establish HR policies SOPs and systems covering recruitment employee administration performance management discipline and employee relations
- Lead and manage daily HR operations ensuring compliance with labor regulations and internal policies
- Upgrade existing HR administration processes (attendance contracts leave payroll coordination BPJS employee data) into a more structured and standardized system
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes for academic and non-academic staff
- Act as a trusted partner to school management on people-related matters workforce planning and organizational discipline
- Handle employee relations issues including conflict resolution warnings and terminations when required
- Build HR reporting and documentation to support management decision-making
- Gradually develop HR capability from an administrative role into a strategic support function for the school
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Psychology Management Education or related fields
- Mandatory background from education institutions (school university or education group); candidates without education-sector experience will not be prioritized
- Minimum 58 years of HR generalist experience with exposure to setting up or restructuring HR functions
- Strong understanding of Indonesian labor regulations and HR best practices
- Hands-on practical and comfortable working in organizations that are still building structure
- Able to balance firmness empathy and professionalism when dealing with teachers staff and management
- Strong documentation organization and communication skills
- Willing to work fully onsite (WFO)
