Job Summary
Major responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the IT Infrastructure setup and IT requirements in the areas of IT Infrastructure Security and Anti-virus etc at IPD. Responsible for KSB locations server and its core functionality. Ensuring to get high availability to the business. Responsible for data center administration Server backup and restoration. Responsible for Installation & configuration of Windows server OS Server laptop and desktop Patch update firmware drivers etc. Responsible for KSB AD GPO DNS and DHCP server. Implementation of Manage Engine- Asset management and Network monitoring system. Responsible for managing Printer desktop laptop at IPD. Responsible for Helpdesk ticket manage engine system asset management. Planning technical evaluation of IT solutions and projects and support Purchase in the procurement process and commissioning of the solutions as per the approved Budget for above mentioned plants. Responsible for managing Standard Software Licensing for Microsoft Adobe ACAD etc.. Evaluating new technologies and implement appropriate one for KSB. Responsible for NAS BACKUP: NAS backup is latest in the backup technology. It replaces the old tape backup technology.
- Backup is taken on array of no of hard disks configured in RAID-5 which gives redundancy and high performance
- Faster backup and restore as compared to tapes
- Backup is done with the snapshot technology
