Donor Care Specialist I / Driver

Location: Hyannis MA
Contract Duration: 13-Week Contract
Pay Rate(Local): $28$35/hour
Shifts: 6a2p 7a3p 8a4p 9a5p 10a6p 11a7p

Overview
The Donor Care Specialist I / Driver supports hospital blood donation programs by screening donors performing whole blood collections and therapeutic phlebotomy and assisting with donor recruitment. This role includes driving mobile blood collection units and ensuring safe high-quality donor care at on-site and off-site locations.

Responsibilities

Conduct donor screenings and eligibility assessments per regulatory standards
Perform whole blood collections and therapeutic phlebotomy
Prepare and label blood components and samples
Complete accurate documentation and data entry
Support donor recruitment efforts
Maintain inventory supplies and clean work areas
Follow hospital policies safety and quality standards
Deliver excellent customer service
Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Prior phlebotomy experience (certification or accredited program preferred)
BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Valid Massachusetts Drivers License
CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement required (bloodmobile)
Prior commercial driving experience preferred
