Job Summary

- To continuously update oneself to stay in line with the latest trends and innovations in the fields of UX and UI

- 10 years of practical experience in user experience design for large-scale software applications (>50 single-page screens and >500 users)

- 10 years of practical experience in user interface design for large-scale software applications (>50 single-page screens and >500 users)

- 5 years of practical experience in creating wireframes and clickable prototyping using prototyping tools (preferably with Figma)

- 5 years of practical experience with design frameworks such as design sprints design ops design thinking

- 5 years of practical experience in the field of interaction design (micro)

- 5 years of experience in using configuring and managing a design system

- 5 years of practical experience in developing information architectures

- 5 years of practical experience with JavaScript HTML and CSS

- 5 years of practical experience in integrating WCAG guidelines

- 5 years of practical experience in setting up conducting and correctly interpreting qualitative and quantitative user tests and/or feedback sessions

- 5 years of experience working (together) within large agile delivery teams

- Knowledge of the Angular framework and TypeScript is an advantage.

- Ability to propose alternative solutions and formulate recommendations on measures to be taken taking into account the entire context

- Good listening skills flexible attitude and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

I. Languages

Due to the nature of the tasks and the clientele (bilingual working environment) as well as our internal working methods a good (at least active) knowledge of Dutch French and English is required.

II. The tasks

You are an energetic UX/UI designer passionate about software applications and with a positive mindset. You are a team player working as a key member within a multidisciplinary and cross-functional team whose primary focus is the client.

As a UX/UI designer you will contribute to achieving the teams objectives. You will help CGRA deliver high-quality products to our clients. You will collaborate with engineers product owners and other stakeholders across the company. Therefore a commitment to collaborative problem-solving advanced design and delivery is essential.

As a UX designer you will design one or more digital products within the CGRA focusing on usability accessibility and ease of use. This includes understanding user needs and objectives creating clickable prototypes and wireframes conducting user testing and iteratively improving the design based on feedback.

As a user research specialist you will understand who the user is and what their needs are through qualitative and/or quantitative research.

As a workshop facilitator you will organize and lead workshops with stakeholders to support and guide the different phases of the project.

As a UX architect you align all the information gathered about the product context the user and the organizations objectives into a coherent and effective structure. As a UX architect you will design a user-friendly design framework that meets both user and business objectives through the comprehensive delivery of wireframes and prototypes.

As a UI designer you will design one or more digital products within the CGRA focusing on the visual design of the product interface such as layout color palette typography icons and interaction elements taking into account the CGRA style guide the existing design system and WCAG guidelines.

You are able to create a seamless and enjoyable user experience that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

You have extensive technical expertise and you use your technical expertise and experience not only to verify the feasibility of digital products but also to contribute to all sprint events (planning refinements retrospectives demonstrations).

You will continually develop your own expertise while gathering updating and disseminating knowledge about new tools and practices within the team.
