Job Summary

As an Azure Cloud Architect you will define and shape the cloud architecture that supports Liantis digital strategy. You design secure scalable and robust cloud solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and guide engineering teams in implementing them. Your role is both strategic and hands on: you set the architectural vision develop cloud standards and ensure that solutions are delivered according to best practices and enterprise requirements.

This is what your job looks like

Design and own Liantis Azure cloud architecture including governance landing zones security models and compliance frameworks.
Define cloud standards patterns and reference architectures to ensure consistency across all cloud solutions.
Advise stakeholders on cloud strategy modernization opportunities and architectural best practices.
Evaluate select and integrate Azure services that align with the long term cloud roadmap.
Collaborate closely with engineering development and security teams to translate architectural decisions into actionable technical implementations.
Guide teams in adopting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation and DevOps principles using tools such as Terraform.
Perform architecture reviews risk assessments and technical validations for new initiatives.
Troubleshoot high complexity technical issues and provide guidance during critical incidents.
Produce clear architectural documentation diagrams and decision records.
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging Azure capabilities to proactively recommend improvements and innovations.

Do you recognize yourself in this

Brings at least 5 years of experience in architecting and designing solutions within the Azure cloud ecosystem.
Demonstrates strong expertise in Azure governance landing zones security networking identity and cost management.
Ideally you hold relevant Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Embraces an Infrastructure as Code mindset and understands how Terraform and automation support architectural objectives.
Combines a strategic conceptual mindset with the ability to translate vision into concrete technical designs.
you have a solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices (e.g. GitHub Actions).
Excels in crossteam collaboration and guides engineering and delivery teams through architectural decisions.
Communicates clearly and confidently simplifying complex architectural concepts for both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Shows a proactive forwardthinking approach continuously evaluating new Azure capabilities and driving architectural innovation.
You are a lifelong learner who thrives on solving complex challenges and designing elegant future proof solutions.
You are present at the office in Bruges twice a week.
