Overview:
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Data Governance & Operations Lead to strengthenenterprise-wide data integrity improve operational efficiency and guide a team of data stewards. This role sits at the intersection of data governance process optimization and team leadership partnering closely with IT Analytics Compliance and business stakeholders to ensure data is trusted consistent and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead data governance standards and operating frameworks to improve data quality consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Define and implement scalable processes supporting data lifecycle management stewardship and operational excellence.
- Analyze operational and business data to identify trends gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Drive automation initiatives including data validation and quality workflows to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
- Lead coach and mentor a team of data stewards reinforcing accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Partner cross-functionally with IT Analytics Compliance and business units to align governance initiatives with business goals.
- Develop track and report on data governance KPIs ensuring transparency and measurable progress.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in data governance data management or business operations.
- Strong analytical skillset with hands-on proficiency in:
- SQL
- Excel
- Data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau or similar)
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM data including schema knowledge integrations and data quality practices.
- Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and automation solutions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with experience coaching and developing teams.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools such as:
- Collibra
- Informatica
- DAMA DMBOK
- Masters degree preferred.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Business Data Science Information Systems or a related field required
- Masters degree preferred
