DescriptionPosition SummaryAs an HR Generalist at Coherent Sweden you will play a key role in supporting managers and employees across a wide range of HR topics. This role is both strategic and hands-on requiring a proactive individual who can drive HR initiatives while managing day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary HR contact for managers on all HR-related matters.
- Lead and execute HR processes including:
- Recruitment onboarding and offboarding
- Acting as the liaison with recruiting agencies
- Managing rehabilitation and personal matters
- Driving engagement and culture initiatives
- Handling work environment and rehabilitation issues including conducting exit interviews
- Supporting labor law compliance and union negotiations
- Deliver HR training sessions for managers and employees.
- Manage HR administration tasks including acting as a superuser in Oracle (Recruiting) and overseeing employment documentation.
- Lead and contribute to HR projects.
Collaboration- Provide HR support to Coherent Swedens management team.
- Collaborate closely with the employer organization union representatives (e.g. Unionen) payroll providers corporate HR and external recruitment partners.
Decision-Making Authority- No specific decision-making or signatory authority defined.
Leadership Responsibilities- No direct reports or formal leadership responsibilities defined.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in a similar HR generalist role.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English written and spoken.
- Expertise in recruitment rehabilitation employee relations work environment regulations and labor law.
Personal Attributes
- High level of personal maturity and integrity.
- Independent flexible and proactive.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
- Structured and solution-oriented with specialist knowledge in HR practices.
