Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. We are seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist for a full-time position at Putnamville Correctional Facility in Greencastle Indiana.

Pay Rate is $21-25/hour depending on experience benefits

The Behavioral Health Professional (Indiana) (Pre-Licensed) is responsible using recreational and social activities to foster skill building and problem solving as well as accomplish treatment objectives. The Behavioral Health Specialist works as a part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team supporting the patients to enhance their skill sets to reinforce social adaptive and independent living skills.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in psychology social work counseling or related social sciences field required
Specific training in recreational therapy preferred
National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) preferred
Correctional environment experience preferred
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Full Time Day Shift (Monday- Friday)
