Your role as Assistant Store Manager

Youll be a strategic leader in the store driving results leading teams and ensuring operational excellence in key areas of the store.

Your responsibilities include:

Supporting the implementation of the stores long-term strategy ensuring compliance with Primarks commercial objectives and the highest customer service standards.
Making key decisions in the store with real impact on how it operates.
Leading and developing the team of managers and retail assistants focusing on engagement results and collaboration.
Driving commercial results through strategic planning data analysis and a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
Managing daily operations ensuring smooth compliant and efficient functioning of the store across all departments.
Responsibility for collaboration with the People & Culture (HR) department including recruitment onboarding and development in partnership with the Store Manager and People & Culture team.
Monitoring market trends and competitor actions identifying opportunities and risks for the store.
Managing stock and resources optimizing costs and ensuring product availability.
Supporting local brand-building initiatives and participating in international projects that drive Primarks growth.

Youre a great fit if:

You have several years of leadership experience in retail ideally as a Regional/Area Manager in a large dynamic environment or as a Store Manager in a large flagship store.
You know how to lead and inspire large teams both managers and retail assistants to achieve common goals.
You combine commercial thinking with a practical approach you understand what drives results and know how to turn insights into actions.
You have strong interpersonal skills you easily build relationships and inspire others creating a positive work culture.
You adapt well in a dynamic environment youre proactive solution-oriented and ready for change.
You have strong planning and organizational skills and can work within deadlines.
You speak English at an advanced level.
Youre open to a flexible schedule including weekends.

Additional Information
What do you need to succeed
A minimum of 6 months of experience at Primark in a Department Manager or Assistant Store Manager role.
Willingness and readiness to relocate to Sibiu with the support of our relocation programme.
A recommendation from your line manager to take part in the recruitment process.
