What Youll Be Owning
This is a senior finance operations role that covers invoicing cash flow reporting and more. Youll keep the financial engine running smoothly while helping leadership make better decisions.
Youll take the lead on:
- Daily invoicing (customer warranty STC) and reconciliations
- Following up with internal teams and customers to keep payments flowing
- Weekly payment packs PO management and contractor/vendor bills
- Month-end close stock reconciliation and report pack preparation
- Excel-based operational reporting variance analysis and forecasting
- Commission and payroll-linked calculations
- Quarterly rebate and compliance submissions
- Process improvements across platforms like Xero Tradify and HubSpot
Important: You wont be left figuring this out alone. Youll work alongside our Finance and Ops leaders with access to clear SOPs systems and communication channels.
How the Workflow Actually Works
- Task boards and SOPs via Asana
- Systems already in place: Xero Tradify HubSpot Green Deal
- Daily syncs and async check-ins with Finance and Ops
- Invoicing and job tracking tied to project completion timelines
- Feedback based on actual business outcomes and team alignment
Youll always know what needs doing who to talk to and how to measure success.
Requirements
This Role Is a Great Fit If You
- Have at least 5 years experience in a senior finance bookkeeping or assistant accountant role
- Have worked with Australian companies and understand AU finance standards (non-negotiable)
- Hold a Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or Business
- Are confident using Xero at an advanced level including error correction POs inventory and reconciliations
- Have strong reconciliation skills (bank AR/AP stock GL)
- Are proficient in Excel (XLOOKUP VLOOKUP pivot tables data cleaning trend analysis)
- Are confident on the phone youll regularly speak with customers and the internal team to chase invoices and clarify job status
- Have a natural eye for what doesnt look right and proactively propose solutions not just flag issues
- Take initiative hit deadlines and work independently without needing reminders
- Are process-driven and tech-savvy comfortable learning tools like Tradify Green Deal HubSpot and Asana
Bonus points if you:
- Are a CPA or CA preferred but not required (aligns with client preference)
- Have experience in solar construction electrical or field service industries
- Have led or supervised others in a finance capacity not required but viewed favourably
- Have worked with GST BAS or compliance submissions in an Australian context
- Enjoy improving finance processes not just maintaining them
- Xero (advanced level required)
- Tradify (job and contractor management)
- HubSpot (CRM job quoting)
- Asana (task and SOP tracking)
- Google Sheets and Excel (forecasting and analysis)
- Email and inbox management (including shared finance mailboxes)
- Familiarity with Green Deal and AU energy rebates is a bonus but not required.
Hours Pay and Stability
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Work hours aligned with South Australia (5:30am2:30pm PHT)
- Up to Php 80000 per month depending on experience
- Includes HMO coverage
- Long-term remote role with room to grow as the business expands in the Philippines
This is a high-ownership role not a short-term gig.
