Job Summary

The Central Sterile Specialist at Salmon Creek 2 processes sterilizes and maintains reusable instruments supporting Orthopedics Urgent Care OB/GYN (additional departments as needed). You will follow recommended and mandated procedures to ensure the safety and sterility of reusable instruments along with performing quality control procedures on a routine basis. To be successful in this role you will need to be detail oriented and able to work in an efficient way.

Hiring range is generally between $20.05-$24.05 and placement in the range is based on an evaluation of experience.

Location: Salmon Creek 2 (2529 NE 139th Street Vancouver WA 98686)

Schedule: Full-time Monday through Friday 8:00a-5:00p

We require our employees to adhere to our attendance standards as frequent deviations make it difficult to provide care for our patients and support our coworkers.

Physical Demands: this role requires regular physical activity including standing for extending periods lifting and moving instrument trays bending reaching and working in a fast-paced environment. The position is inherently hands-on and physically active.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Detailed and procedure oriented required
Ability to work independently and adhere to specific guidelines
Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center or central sterile services preferred
Certificate of completion from a formal central sterile processing technology course preferred
National certification preferred

Pay Range:

$19.70 - $27.58
