Local Rate: $90$97/hour (approximately $3637.50/week)
Travel Rate: $3959.50/week
Schedule
40 hours per week
8-hour shifts Monday through Friday
Approved agency public holidays not included
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Behavioral Health department at a healthcare facility in Brooklyn NY. This leadership role plays a key part in advancing quality improvement initiatives supporting nursing leadership and ensuring the delivery of safe high-quality patient-centered care within a behavioral health setting.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise effective leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities
Plan develop and implement initiatives to improve patient care outcomes and nursing staff performance.
Monitor analyze and evaluate patient care performance metrics in collaboration with Nurse Managers.
Conduct unit assessments and implement corrective actions to address identified gaps.
Develop maintain and oversee documentation and tracking systems related to medication errors and staff counseling.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory accreditation and organizational standards.
Provide leadership mentorship and ongoing guidance to nursing staff within the Behavioral Health department.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
Minimum of 7 years of nursing experience including at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with Primary Source Verification through the New York State Department of Education (NYSED).
Current BLS certification.
Demonstrated experience working in a Behavioral Health setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Nursing or a related field.
