3rd Shift: Sunday - Friday 11pm-7am
What you will do:
- Lead and instruct warehouse personnel
- Create and maintain a proactive work environment
- Directly train warehouse personnel
- Department quality -stimulate maximum efficiency and productivity of warehouse personnel
- Pre-plan work assignments for warehouse personnel
- Coordinate workload with other lead person and departments to improve efficiency
- Issue disciplinary action as necessary to employees
- Prepare and issue performance evaluations to employees
- Participate in evaluating potential new hires with warehouse manager
- Notify warehouse manager of any unusual problems
- Maintain company policies safety rules and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Assist in evaluating the receiving function for maximum efficiency
- Assist in evaluating the warehouse locations for maximum efficiency
- Monitor warehouse bar-codesystem: check for errorsto assure accuracy
What you need
Required:
- High School or GED
- Minimum 5 years warehouse experience
Preferred
- Associates degree
- Experience with Skyjacks Electrical Hand-jacks and other equipment
- Experience with Warehouse Software and working with computer interfacing
