Job Summary

Job Title:Research Assistant - School of Communications

Responsibilities:
  • Help collect and organize information from news stories social media and academic articles related to advocacy and communication
  • Assist with summarizing articles and identifying key themes
  • Help with organizing notes citations and sources for future writing or presentations
  • Support small administrative tasks like organizing files and keeping a shared calendar of deadlines
  • Join regular check-ins with the Dean and get an inside look at how academic projects come together
  • Qualifications:
  • A second-year (or rising second-year) or higher undergraduate student in the School of Communications
  • Interested in topics like media culture activism or social justice
  • Strong reader and writer comfortable with summarizing information
  • Organized responsible and able to work independently
  • Curious and open to learning new skills
Hours of Position:
