The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).
This position serves as the primary liaison between the RHTP and the Montana Department of Labor & Industry; coordinates joint efforts to align health care workforce development with statewide labor and economic strategies; facilitates information exchange on training programs apprenticeships and labor-market trends; ensures consistency between RHTP objectives and Department of Labor initiatives; represents RHTP in interagency meetings and workgroups; supports data-sharing and joint reporting efforts.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
Expertise in health policy workforce development frameworks and interagency governance.
Ability to navigate complex policy environments and align multiple workstreams.
Strong skills in strategic planning stakeholder engagement and legislative advocacy.
Meet minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree in public health workforce development administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
At least three years of experience in workforce development program coordination apprenticeships or labor market analysis.
Experience collaborating with state agencies or interagency initiatives.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to interpret or work with labor market and program data.
Preferred:
Experience with registered apprenticeships WIOA processes and Montana workforce systems.
Experience with rural healthcare workforce initiatives.
Experience developing MOUs or data-sharing agreements.
Familiarity with federal and state workforce reporting requirements.
