Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to support our orthopedic surgical supply operations. This role is critical to ensuring the timely accurate coordination of surgical instruments implants and field representatives to hospitals and surgical centers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced high-responsibility environment and demonstrates strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily scheduling and dispatching of orthopedic surgical supplies equipment and field representatives to hospitals and surgical facilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between surgeons sales representatives logistics and internal teams
- Monitor surgical schedules and proactively adjust dispatch plans to accommodate changes emergencies or delays
- Ensure accuracy of case details including procedure type surgeon preferences implant requirements and delivery times
- Track inventory movement and confirm proper documentation for dispatched and returned equipment
- Maintain accurate real-time records using dispatching and inventory management systems
- Resolve issues related to scheduling conflicts delivery delays or equipment availability with professionalism and urgency
- Adhere to all company policies compliance standards and healthcare regulations
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in dispatching logistics healthcare operations or a related field preferred
- Experience in medical device orthopedic or surgical environments is a strong plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in scheduling dispatching and inventory management software
- Ability to remain calm and effective in time-sensitive high-pressure situations
- Reliable punctual and detail-oriented
Training & Onboarding
- Comprehensive four-week training program conducted on day shift
- Hands-on training covering orthopedic products surgical workflows dispatch systems and compliance standards
