What you will do -
As the Surgical Case Dispatcher you will be responsible for the planning routing delivery and pickup of all scheduled cases. Optimizing and ensuring that all drivers are effectively utilized. You will be responsible for ensuring the branch is meeting transportation along with budget cost reduction strategies as they pertain.
- Meet established operational metrics (e.g. turns service levels).
- Coordinate expired product replacement pickups and dropoffs as requested by warehouse teams.
- Plan route efficiency and communicate with surgical case coordinators to manage multiple routes while minimizing mileage overtime and costs.
- Communicate effectively with sales partners to build and maintain strong crossfunctional relationships.
- Ensure all cases are delivered on time complete and to the correct facility.
- Coordinate the timely return of all inventory to its designated location.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize driver capacity by evaluating peak times demand fluctuations and operational priorities; collaborate with Inbound and Outbound teams to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Maintain and update customer delivery instructions and locationspecific dropoff details; prepare vehicle maintenance reports and ensure completion of scheduled vehicle maintenance.
What you need -
Required:
- 5 years of relevant/professional experience.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Drivers license with no restrictions.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support the business needs including weekend(s) and evening(s) as needed.
- Ability to lift push pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred:
- Previous work experience in a related field such as Transportation or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Demonstrated warehouse/inventory control experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelors degree.
$28.01 $38.75 per hour plus bonus eligible benefits. Individual pay is based on skills experience and other relevant factors.
Travel Percentage: 30%
