Job Summary

  • SCHADS Level 4 super Ongoing Part-time 0.5 FTE (38 hours per fortnight)
Your new role

Help young people leaving care build confidence independence and strong community connections across the Wimmera SouthWest.

In this role youll:

  • Build partnerships with local organisations
  • Connect young people to opportunities in housing education jobs & wellbeing
  • Support Development Coaches across Better Futures partners
  • Strengthen community support networks

Your skills and experience
  • Diploma of Community Welfare Work or related discipline or less formal qualifications with significant industry experience. (Desirable but not essential).
  • Current drivers license. (Mandatory).
Experience
  • Working with young people with an Out of Home Care experience.
  • Working effectively in a care team situation and the ability to manage complex relationships and interactions.
  • Experience in working with traumatised young people.
  • Experience in facilitating and leading group work with young people.
