About the role
In this role you will take a technical leadership position in the delivery of identity and access management services across Essential Energy ensuring secure reliable and efficient access to systems and data. Youll be responsible for managing authentication controls Active Directory services privileged access management and identity governance while supporting both operational needs and the ongoing uplift of our cyber security capabilities. Working closely with Digital Services project teams and operational stakeholders youll contribute to service improvement risk reduction and the overall security maturity of the organisation.
This is a temporary role until end of July and can be based anywhere withinEssential Energys operational footprint.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing authentication access controls and identity governance services
- Overseeing Active Directory domain operations and supporting related services
- Managing privileged access management processes and technologies
- Delivering IAM services within agreed service levels and meeting operational requirements
- Contributing to continuous improvement uplift initiatives and riskreduction activities
About You
Youre an experienced and technically strong IAM professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where security service quality and collaboration matter. You take a proactive approach to problemsolving communicate clearly with stakeholders and thrive in roles where you can contribute both to operational delivery and longerterm capability uplift. With a customerfocused mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement youre motivated to help shape a secure resilient and futureready identity and access environment for Essential Energy.
You will bring:
- Strong technical capability across identity and access management services
- Experience supporting Active Directory domain services and authentication controls
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Understanding of ISM PSPF and ISO27001/270 security frameworks
Qualifications required
- Advanced Diploma in Information Technology Business or demonstrated equivalent experience
