Schedule: Full-Time Nights Rotating Weekends

Compensation & Incentives

• Hourly Pay: $28.00 $40.00 (based on experience)

• Night Shift Differential: $4.50/hr

• Weekend Differential: $3.00/hr

• Sign-On Bonus: $15000

• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care services in an acute care hospital setting. This role supports patients across medical-surgical intensive care emergency and womens services units delivering both invasive and non-invasive respiratory therapies in alignment with physician orders departmental protocols and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments including breath sounds airway patency and cuff pressures

• Conduct diagnostic testing to assess respiratory status and treatment effectiveness

• Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery aerosolized medications and chest physiotherapy

• Assist with artificial airway placement and ongoing airway management

• Initiate monitor and manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation

• Monitor patient response to therapy and intervene appropriately during adverse events

• Assist with transport of ventilator-dependent patients

• Respond to emergency situations and participate in resuscitation efforts

• Collaborate with physicians nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience required
  (Critical care or Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred)

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required (CRT does not qualify)

• Active Florida Respiratory Therapist license

• Associate Degree from an accredited respiratory care program

• BLS required within 30 days of hire

• NRP ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
