Job Summary
The Opportunity: We are representing a premier leader in industrial infrastructure and steel solutions. Due to a massive pipeline of upcoming projects we are looking for a Senior Estimator to join their Irving-based team. This isnt just about spreadsheets; its about bidding on the projects that build the future of Texas.
The Compensation: Competitive Base Salary (Commensurate with experience) Performance Bonuses.
What Youll Be Doing:
Project Scoping: Perform detailed quantity take-offs for large-scale industrial and commercial steel projects.
Bid Management: Prepare comprehensive cost estimates including labor materials and equipment.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and engineers to identify value-engineering opportunities.
Market Analysis: Stay ahead of material cost fluctuations to ensure competitive and profitable bidding.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
Experience: 5-10 years of estimating experience specifically within Structural Steel or Industrial Construction.
Technical Prowess: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam Sage or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of the North Texas construction market and vendor landscape.
Detail-Oriented: An analytical brain that can spot a discrepancy in a blueprint from a mile away.
