Job Summary

Rail Systems Engineer

We are seeking a competent Rail Systems Engineer to design develop and oversee the implementation of complex rail systems.

Rail Systems Engineers are responsible for the design development testing and integration of rail systems.

The responsibilities of a Rail Systems Engineer include:

  • Designing and developing rail systems in accordance with the project specifications and requirements
  • Designing development and implementation of rail systems solutions
  • Professional knowledge in railway signaling systems track circuit systems and automatic train control systems
  • Design develop system testing and validation procedures
  • Collaborate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
  • Conducting comprehensive tests to verify and validate the rail systems performance
  • Prepare technical reports and design documentation
  • Providing technical support for rail systems including resolving issues
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards regulations and new technologies
  • Collaborating with other engineers and professionals on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Comply with industry standards and safety regulations ensuring the safety and efficiency of rail systems
  • Provide technical support to clients and stakeholders
  • Preparing technical reports and documentation for system designs modifications operations and maintenance activities
  • Recommending upgrades or improvements to enhance the performance and efficiency of rail systems
  • Working closely with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget

Qualifications :

  • BSc degree in Engineering or relevant field
  • Proven work as a Rail Systems Engineer or similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of Rail Systems including signaling and train control
  • Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software
  • Familiarity with railway safety standards and regulations
  • Strong project Management and team leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
