Job Summary
Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)
Be part of one of Americas fastest-growing FinTech largest online insurance marketplace in the U.S. trusted by millions. Were seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with AWS expertise to design and maintain secure scalable and highly reliable cloud systems used by millions of people daily.
Main Responsibilities
- Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency
- Manage infrastructure efficiently through Terraform automation
- Follow best practices for security availability and compliance in AWS
- Collaborate with development teams to support infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Develop resilient scalable AWS systems for compute storage and network resources
- Document infrastructure processes and enforce best practices across the team
- Implement disaster recovery strategies and fault-tolerant systems
- Oversee monitoring logging and alerts to ensure system health
- Extensive previous commercial experience in cloudinfrastructure
- 3 years focused on AWS strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS VPC IAM etc.)
- Works well with teams and communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Track record of optimizing AWS environments for performance and cost
- Proficient in AWS security and networking (VPC subnets VPNs security groups)
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines automated testing and DevOps practices
- Hands-on experience automating infrastructure with Terraform
- Track record of previous experience with scaling modern applications
- Experience with Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS)
- Strong English language skills
- Mentoring a small team is plus
