Position Overview
Orange Barrel Media is seeking a Media Measurement Analyst to join our growing Data & Insights team. This role serves as a primary internal owner and liaison for media measurement and audience data ensuring impression-based metrics are accurate well-understood optimized and consistently leveraged for business results.
The Media Measurement Analyst works closely with internal teams and external partners to translate complex data into clear sales-ready insights. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical fundamentals alongside media and audience data fluency with experience in OOH or similar media channels highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business questions from Sales Real Estate and Operations into analytical approaches and actionable outputs; brings curiosity and interest in teammates needs to provide relevant solutions.
- Act as key liaison internally for campaign and client specific data requests from Sales.
- Ingest validate and analyze third-party measurement data (e.g. Geopath Perview other performance measurement partners) identify trends anomalies and opportunities for deeper insight.
- Analyze and interpret large datasets related to media delivery impressions and performance across OBM and IKE assets.
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards that clearly communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract transform and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Support workflow improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline data ingestion reporting and recurring analyses.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define data standards documentation and best practices that improve consistency and scalability.
- Present findings clearly through dashboards summaries and presentations that enable confident decision-making.
- Manage multiple requests and priorities with strong organization curiosity and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Analytics Economics Computer Science or experience in related areas.
- 4-6 years of experience in data analysis business analytics or related roles.
- Work within the media advertising or marketing analytics ecosystem.
- Experience using Tableau (or similar BI tools) to build dashboards and visualizations.
- Proficiency in SQL including complex joins and multi-step queries.
- Working knowledge of Python (or similar analytical scripting language) for analysis or automation.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to connect data outputs to real-world business use cases.
- Clear communicator who can explain insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new data sources tools and business concepts quickly.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with OOH media measurement audience data or impression-based analytics (Geopath mobility data ad exposure data etc.).
- Experience working with ETL concepts data pipelines or analytics documentation.
- Comfort collaborating with Sales and Technology teams in a fast-moving operationally complex environment.
