Position Title: Addiction Psychiatrist Medical Director

Location: Atlanta GA
Talbott Recovery Main Campus on Hunter Road in Atlanta GA is a leading addictiontreatment center known for its comprehensive evidencebased programs and serene 100acre setting designed to support longterm recovery.

Position Overview:

Employment Type: Hospital Employed full-time Medical Director
Schedule / Hours: Monday-Friday (flexible start and end times)
Call: Shared after hour telephonic call
Patient Volume: Negotiable 8-12 hours a month of administrative duty for Medical Director Position
Location: Atlanta GA (Southwest Atlanta near airport)
Practice Setting: Intensive Outpatient and Partial Day Programs (IOP/PHP)
Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs BH RN Psychiatric NPs Social Workers and Therapists
EMR / Technology: Tier

Responsibilities:

Conductinginitial psychiatric evaluations
Managingdetox protocols and medication-assisted treatment
Providingongoing psychiatric care and psychotherapy
Collaborating with amultidisciplinary treatment team
Participating inclinical administration program development and staff supervision

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Addiction Psychiatry or a Psychiatrist who is Board Certified in General Psychiatry with a Board Certification in Addiction Medicine preferred.
HIMSS Certification and prior leadership experience are required for this position.
Active or eligible GA license
Active DEA
