Lead Survey Principal - Top ENR Firm - Bridgeport WV

Position Highlights

Title: Professional Surveyor / Principal (Survey Practice Leader)
Location: Bridgeport West Virginia office just off I-79 walkable to restaurants
Work setup: Primarily in-office with flexibility; collaborative team environment

What Youll Do

Lead and grow the local survey team mentoring surveyors and technicians and fostering a collaborative high-performance culture
Oversee quality safety and delivery of survey projects ensuring accurate on-time work and efficient workflows
Manage and review a variety of survey types including boundary ALTA/NSPS topographic utility/route subdivision/plats and construction layout/as-builts
Partner with other discipline leaders (civil environmental geotechnical etc.) to support integrated project delivery
Contribute to client relationships and business development efforts helping identify new opportunities in the region

What Were Looking For

Licensed Professional Surveyor (PS) in West Virginia or the ability to obtain WV licensure in a reasonable timeframe
Approximately 10 years of land surveying experience with some track record of team leadership or mentoring
Solid hands-on background with common survey project types (boundary ALTA/NSPS topographic construction layout etc.)
Comfortable balancing technical oversight project management and people leadership
Strong communication skills and a desire to grow a practice not just manage a project list
