The Role: Technical Sales Engineer IR
In this pivotal role you will:
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Australian Industrial Refrigeration & Heat Pump marketplace
Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives
Provide market insights including competitor activity and industry trends
Work closely with engineering and project teams to develop designs costings and proposals
Use specialist selection software to optimise equipment choices
Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to determine pricing and solutions
Manage the endtoend sales process including SFDC management bid development and legal reviews
Represent the business with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
Ensure full compliance with Johnson Controls Safety and Ethics Policies
What Were Looking For
Ideally you will bring:
Experience in industrial refrigeration including product knowledge design or solution sales
A degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential)
3 years Technical Sales experience
Outstanding communication skills
Strong negotiation abilities and a consultative approach
Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
The ability to build trust quickly and influence stakeholders at all levels
A proactive collaborative and customerfocused mindset
This role is an excellent fit for UKbased engineers or sales professionals seeking an international move with a global organisation.
