Location: Saratoga Springs NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 3 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Pay Rate: $45 $50/hour
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join a D2 Med-Surg unit for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong acute care background prior travel experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires flexibility as floating between units may be necessary based on operational needs and skillset.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe high-quality nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Monitor patient conditions administer medications and evaluate treatment responses
Accurately document patient care using hospital electronic medical records (EMR)
Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition to ensure safety and comfort
Float to other units as assigned based on competency and staffing needs
Adhere to all clinical guidelines policies and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
Active New York State RN License
Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience (Medical-Surgical preferred)
Prior travel nursing experience required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
Flexibility and willingness to float between units as needed
