Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate daily activities involved in producing the products
- Meet production goals.
- Establishing and/or adjusting work procedures and manpower to meet production schedules
- Recommend measures to improve production methods equipment performance product quality and employee safety
- Assisting workers in solving problems
- Implements plans to motivate employees to achieve work goals
- Handles counseling training and development of direct reports
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 5-8 years in manufacturing 3 in supervisory capacity
- Associates degree or higher with supervisory certifications
- Prior Leader ship experience required
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing 5S and World Class Manufacturing concepts practices and procedures is desirable
Job Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking team environment
- Ability to work with little or no notice of overtime when needed
- Ability to read technical drawings specifications and procedures
- Good interpersonal communication skills written and verbal.
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Computer Literate- experience with Microsoft Office ERP/MRP (helpful)
- Ability to apply common sense in performing job
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to use basic high school math skills

Physical Demands:
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- Repetitive motions
Work Environment:
- Production floor environment
