Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation & Incentives

Hourly Pay (Based on Experience):

• $28.65 $29.89/hr (12 years)

• $31.12 $32.36/hr (56 years)

• $33.59 $36.95/hr (10 years)

Shift Differentials:

• Evenings: $2.00/hr

• Nights: $3.00/hr

Sign-On Bonus: $15000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) to support overnight laboratory operations in an acute-care hospital environment. This role performs complex diagnostic testing across multiple laboratory disciplines delivering accurate and timely results that directly impact patient care and clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory analyses including microscopic immunologic bacteriologic hematologic biologic and chemical testing

• Conduct testing across Hematology Clinical Chemistry Blood Bank Serology Coagulation Urinalysis and Microbiology

• Receive process and accession specimens while maintaining proper documentation

• Operate troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on laboratory instrumentation

• Complete and document quality control procedures in accordance with laboratory policies and regulatory standards

• Identify document and resolve testing or equipment issues

• Assist with training and mentoring of new staff and students

• Participate in phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed

Required Qualifications

• Florida State Generalist Laboratory License (active or applied and near completion)

• Bachelors degree in Medical Technology Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field

• MT/MLS registry required by start date

• Strong foundational laboratory knowledge

• New graduates with clinical rotations or laboratory assistant experience will be considered

Preferred Qualifications

• ASCP or equivalent certification

• Prior experience working as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting
