Senior Software Engineer
Location: San Francisco (hybrid 3 days in-office; NYC option depending on business needs)
Compensation: $180000 $220000 Competitive Equity

About The Role Senior Software Engineer
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer you will:
- Lead and own large parts of the product taking features from ideation to implementation and scaling
- Balance frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Python) responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the team to deliver impactful experiences for millions of users
- Work in a hybrid model (San Francisco office 3 days in-office) with potential consideration for NYC-based candidates
Responsibilities
- Lead frontend development building delightful UI/UX for millions of daily page views
- Build and maintain backend systems in Python
- Work with SQL and Postgres for data modeling and queries
- Scope and implement product features in a fast-paced startup environment
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design end-to-end systems
- Own products from concept to production
Requirements
- 310 years software engineering experience preferably at startups
- Strong TypeScript skills for React frontend
- Strong Python backend experience
- Experience with SQL and Postgres
- Customer-centric mindset with empathy for creators
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and scope solutions with teammates
- Experience leading and owning large features end-to-end

- Firebase experience
- Flask backend experience
- Experience with design tools like Figma
- Prior experience building high-scale products (millions of daily page views)
- Strong CS fundamentals and pedigree
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $180K $220K
