Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking aMission Management Planner(MMP)to support a new Space Systems Command (SSC) program aligned to the Epoch 2 Ground Management and Integration effort.
TheMMPwill coordinate the activities of theon-shiftPeraton Team as well as subcontractor personnel.This positionis initially aday staffposition that will transition toshift worklater in the program.During theinitialphase of this position the MMP will support program standup transition the program from the legacy contract and developprogram specific procedures that align with Peraton processes and tools to meet Customer objectives.As part of a 24x7 crew member the MMP will support on-call requirements andpotentialsurge support as the governmentrequires.
This position willbe responsible forthe following:
- Leadsa team of direct reports to completeoperational requirementsbased onthe GovernmentprovidedCONOPSand or approved procedures.
- Manage shiftrequirements andallocatetasking for spacecraft engineers.
- Perform daily monitoring and trending ofMWT MEO groundsegmentstate-of-health data.
- While on shiftoperatethe Constellation Mission Management (CMM) softwarecomponent.
- Monitor MTC/JOPCChatSurferchat roomwhile on shift.
- Coordinate with JOPC planners (as)while on shift.
- Coordinateshiftchange inputs for Team Peratonto provide to the government Mission Director (MD).
- Follow the directions of thegovernment MDto support operational activities.
- Developmaintain andvalidatenominal and off-nominal proceduresfor performingground segmentactivities.
- Support space operations through coordinating ground segments operations andmonitorfor potentialoff-nominalindicators.
- Responsible for the technical integrity of projects and operations whileprovidingtechnical guidance to department staff and project levels.
- Work closely with resources to create test plans and ensure that issues are properly assigned and resolved.
- Provideaccurate articulate quick turnaround notifications and status updates for anomalies.
- Analyze andidentifyspacecraft system anomaly root causes. Coordinate team planning and execution of recovery actions.
- Assistin developing andmaintainingchecklists and training material forground segmentengineers.
- Conduct team meetings as necessary to plan for upcoming activities discuss ongoing issues andfacilitateteam cohesiveness.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience may have lead experience
- Active/Current TS/SCI
- Prior experience working with spacevehicle operations space operational environment and or ground segment operations
- Experienceleading projects and/or teamsto complete time critical tasks
- Occasional travel to other sites may be.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical EngineeringPhysicsor related field.
- Previousexperience associated withResilient MWTand/or MW/MD OPIRoperations is highly desired.
- Previousexperience with OS/COMETis desired
- Proficiencywith Systems Tool Kit (STK) Python MATLAB or LabVIEW.
- Previousspacecraft operations design or test experience.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with peers and management.

Target Salary Range
$104000 - $166000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
